About Us
Located in Central Victoria and consisting of rural communities across the Wimmera and Mallee agricultural areas. The largest community in the North Central LLEN region has a population of approximately 2300 and the remainder of the communities range from 400 to 1500.
Local Government Areas covered by the North Central LLEN are Buloke, Loddon, and Northern Grampians (Northern half).

The North Central LLEN through partnerships and advocacy seeks to support communities, schools, parents, and service providers to address the challenging and unique circumstances that may result in barriers preventing young people aged 10 to 19 years from remaining positively engaged in education, and to transition successfully into further training or full-time employment.
While rural communities face challenges such as geographical isolation, transport, limited service provision and Information Technology infrastructure, they are able to provide to young people the strength that lies in cooperative partnerships that will lead to sustainable outcomes and creating opportunities for engagement and broad ranging participation.
