The Board of the North Central LLEN
The Board of the North Central LLEN is made up of a range of committed regional professionals and community members who represent different stakeholder groups within our community. The LLEN Board of Management representation comes from mandated categories to enable effective regional representation, consultation and community development to be achieved.
The North Central LLEN is an incorporated association and as such the Board has oversight for all matters of Governance and organisational policy development. The Board is also responsible for the delivery and accountability of meeting its contractual obligations.
The Board with its stakeholders and partners has developed a Strategic Plan for the period 2009-2013 based on comprehensive environmental scans and local regional and state consultation. The plan is aimed at focusing on four key stakeholder groups to increase opportunities and improve the education, attainment and employment outcomes for young people 10 to 19 years.
These key focus areas include:
- Education and training providers
- Business and Industry
- Parents and families
- Community groups
