We are seeking twelve young people aged 17-20 for a winter internship. You will learn research skills and interview local employers about the future of work.
6-week project: up to 30 hours of your time
From Monday, 3 August to Friday, 11 September
$566 reimbursement of your costs.
Description Would you like to be trained in running a research project, developing vital job skills for your CV, in a team of other young people? We are looking for 12 enthusiastic individuals to undertake an internship. You will learn how to do research, write reports, and communicate the findings to help employers and young people in the region.
You will develop useful skills and be able to add the project to your CV. You will also increase your understanding of what is needed to successfully transition to work and make contacts with local employers.
Renumeration This is not a paid position, but you will be reimbursed $566 for costs.
Eligibility You need no experience, but will be a resident of the Loddon Campaspe area, and have:
A Year 12 certificate or equivalent
Good interpersonal skills and a friendly manner
Ability to use or learn Zoom (the interviews will be conducted online due to COVID-19)
Good note-taking ability
Organisational and time management skills
