Among the multitude of activities that take place to get from a tiny grape seed to a quality bottle of wine is the design of the wine label. Although many shoppers might like to think they know a thing or two about wine, the reality is that most people are attracted to a vino by a great label.
Kira Hyde is the person to talk to about design. Her business The KH Studio has designed logo’s, brands and marketing materials for an incredibly wide range of businesses. From a hairdressing salon that specialise in blondes, to a carpet retailer. From the Youth Take Over logo, to Handlebar.
As the Facilitator for this Take Over, Kira will take you through the ins and outs of marketing and design while letting your creativity run free. Over the course of 8 weeks, you’ll attend six 2-hour sessions to learn the business and create your designs, plus a day visiting some vineyards around Heathcote, so you can really see what it’s all about.
At the end of your project, there will be an exhibition of all the designs at Rood Henry’s Art Space in Heathcote, and an announcement of the winner!
